We are David and Kathie Crockett.  When we are not in Costa Rica, we live in Denver, Colorado.  We first came to Costa Rica in May of 2008.  We had lived overseas during David's career and knew that we would want a second home outside of the US.  We decided to start looking in Costa Rica; go home and think about it; probably go to Panama; then in a year or less, we'd decide on a foreign retirement home.  We never went to Panama, and we bought our home in Villas Catalinas on that trip!  So much for thinking it through!  What made us decide so quickly was that the first time we looked at the unit, we fell in love with the view, the floor plan and the area.  Getting to know the local Costa Ricans has been an added pleasure.   

When you visit our home, you can do whatever you choose to do.  If you want to spend the day on the deck watching the ocean, the birds, the monkeys and the passersby, you can do that.  If you are the more active type, there are all kinds of things you can do to stay busy: bike, swim, surf, boogy-board, photograph the flora and fauna, paddle board, jog or hike or stroll on the beaches.
